Legacy Warranty Information

Legacy Stonecraft will warranty countertops fabricated and installed by Legacy Stonecraft for any fabrication and/or installation defect for a period of ten (10) years after initial installation. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner of the job.

If the countertop develops a manufacturing defect within the ten year period, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the owner. If the color or type of granite is no longer readily available Legacy Stonecraft will provide the original owner the current market cash value of the counter top or replace the tops with similar stone if we determine that a satisfactory repair cannot be made.

This warranty covers only the scope of work Legacy Stonecraft was originally contracted to perform and does not include any peripheral scopes of work.

This warranty includes countertops installed indoors only. It does not include furniture, outdoor counters or any amenities such as lazy susans, window sills or accent pieces.

This warranty is only valid to those owners who sign and return this document to Legacy Stonecraft within 30 days of installation.

This Limited Warranty includes the following:

Legacy Stonecraft will not provide warranty service for any counters not installed by us.
Legacy Stonecraft will not provide warranty service if the product shows evidence that it has been tampered with, misused, abused or altered, including chemical abuse (i.e oil & citrus stains) or physical abuse (i.e excessive chipping or scratching).
Legacy Stonecraft will provide recommendations and/or assist in the repair of any stone not covered under this warranty but additional charges may apply
Legacy Stonecraft will not warranty any honed, leathered or brushed material, any marble, travertine, limestone, slate or onyx in the case of scratching, staining, or structural integrity.
Legacy Stonecraft will not warranty any countertop which has become defective due to settlement, fire or acts of nature.
Legacy Stonecraft will not warranty any countertop which has become defective due to failure of the supporting structure (i.e. cabinets or walls). Legacy Stonecraft will not be liable for the structural integrity of any cabinet, wall, corbel or any other structure which is to support a stone countertop.
