1) Establishing your budget

We can provide budget pricing from a rough dimensional drawing sent via fax or e-mail. However, in order to effectively establish a 'no surprises' budget, it is best to schedule an in-home consultation. Legacy Stonecraft provides this service free of charge. We will discuss color schemes, your personal tastes, your style of living, the pros and cons to different materials, as well as going over other details such as plumbing, electrical, backsplash, sinks, etc. Legacy Stonecraft does offer turn key installations. Regardless, we are always here for you to answer any questions you may have. Please contact us any time.

2) Selecting your materials

Legacy Stonecraft carries a stock of material at our facility in Hutto but for a much larger selection of materials we would invite you to visit one of our wholesale slab yards:

3) Construction Process – What happens once you have selected Legacy Stonecraft?

First, we would establish a schedule. The schedule will include the following:

Templating: This is where we come to your home to build/measure templates for your countertops. It is important for you to be involded in the templating process in order to review details of your project. We ask that you have the countertops cleared off for the templating. This process usually takes 1-3 hrs (depending on the size of your project).

Slab Layout: The next step would be to have you come out to our shop to do a layout of your kitchen on the material you selected. We want you to be involved in this process in order to make sure you get exactly what you want in your countertops. The slab layout takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Installation: Depending on the scope of your project the installation process will take anywhere from 2 -6 hours. We ask that you have the bottom cabinets cleared out for the installation. This is to allow access under the counters and to also keep you fromhaving to wash all your dishes/pots/pans.

If we are installing your tile backsplash, we will schedule that work for another day but there are some cases where we can have that scope of work performed the same day as the countertop installation. If we are installing a granite backsplash, we will template for the granite backsplash after the countertops are installed and install at a later date (typically 2-5 days).
