Legacy Stonecraft provides the highest quality granite, marble and natural stone products to Central Texas…and beyond
We have traveled as far as Montana to meet our customers’ needs (see the Milner’s testimonial). No matter the size or scope of the project, we will fully commit to meeting the needs of each of our customers. This is what makes Legacy Stonecraft different; we treat each and every customer as a relationship – not a job.
Our Facility:
Our fabrication shop and showroom is located in Hutto, Texas. All of our stone fabrication machinery is less than 5 years old and made in the USA. We pride ourselves on the fact that all cutting and polishing in our shop is done with water. This not only ensures a safe and sustainable working environment for our employees by virtually eliminating potentially harmful airborne dust; but it also provides the highest quality finished product.
Our Stories:
Don Kent - Owner
Mr. Kent has lived in Round Rock since 1974. He had successful careers as a local business owner and an artist. After retiring from art, the pressures from fishing and golf became too overwhelming and he decided to become a builder/developer. While building houses he decided to take up the challenge of fabricating his own granite countertops. He attended Marble Institute of America’s Granite School and started a small fabrication facility in his barn. He passed this skill on to his son, Cory, and this is how they fell in love with working with stone.
Cory Kent - President, CEO
Cory was raised in Round Rock. After graduating from Texas Tech with a Marketing degree he spent his entire career in the commercial construction industry and the majority of it in the Dallas area. His passion for construction bled over to his hobby of remodeling homes. He learned stone fabrication from his father and used it to remodel his houses as well as the homes of a few friends. In the summer of 2007, Cory and his father came up with a plan to start a granite fabrication company. Cory moved his wife, Amber and their 4 year old daughter Callie Jo back to Round Rock and closer to his family and his Central Texas Roots.
